Steven Harris, better known as Bro. Steve to the entertainment world has been an announcer since the age of 10 years old. This multimedia tycoon, brings education, faith, and a touch of class in everything he does. A young man with a vision fighting against all odds most of his life, not accepting no for an answer… is unstoppable.
Born in Cleveland, Ohio, he created Steven Harris Recording at the age of 14 years old, which later became Bro. Steve Productions. Later at the age of 17 he started working in professional radio as an on air personality. He attended Kent State University and received a Bachelor of Arts degree where he studied broadcast law and television production and he created his own minor… religious broadcasting.
Before the age of 23, Harris had produced over 472 radio, television, and video productions. In 1990, he relocated to Los Angeles, California where he now resides and works as a television production manager and coordinator on network and syndicated specials such as, The Image Awards, The Essence Awards, Circus of the Stars, The Lou Rawls Parade of Stars, Black Achievement Awards, Miss Collegiate Pageant and many more to name a few. This producer, announcer, entrepreneur, and motivator strongly believes that “It’s not what you have, it’s what you do with what you have that makes the difference.”
God has given Harris the anointed “Gift of Gab” along with the ability to effectively touch people’s lives through the power of the media. In addition to his warm, kind, and colorful personality, Harris loves people and takes what he does seriously. He formed the McDonald-Davis Corporation in 1996; a non-profit company designed to aide people in need all across the country.
