Elisia Harkins

Ms. Elisia Harkins has a non-profit, Dr. Barbara Seniors Harkins Foundation, that helps underprivileged children in the South Dade, Florida area.  She was compelled to start the organization after her mother passed in May, 2005. Her mother devoted her life to educating the youth by providing a solid academic and social learning environment. Ms. Harkins was determined to continue her good work. Currently, Ms. Harkins lives in Los Angeles, California and she teaches Television Production at Nortre Dame High School. She often travels back to her hometown to teach film production to children in the community.  She has produced a number of films for national television. Her goal is to someday move back to the South Dade area and work for the Foundation full time.
